Sarah Strathy-Alie (she/her)

Sarah is a speech-language pathologist with over 17 years experience working with children and families. Her passion for addressing pediatric speech, language and literacy disorders led her to pursue Hanen Certification (It Takes Two to Talk; ABC and Beyond), Prompts for Restructuring Oral-Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) Training (Level 2: Bridging Technique to Intervention) and Advanced Training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech - Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC). She has worked for Early Abilities Speech and Language Services, The Speech and Stuttering Institute, The Toronto Catholic District School Board and currently works at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She is a clinical advisor for the Canadian CdLS Foundation and a clinical educator for the University of Toronto SLP Program.

The Upper Beach Speech clinic is a home-based office near Kingston Rd. and Main St. in Toronto. Materials, games and toys have been carefully curated based on an understanding of what interests children and will encourage full participation in sessions. The space is set up to support the active engagement of children and families in assessment and treatment.
