FAQs

  • We work with children as young as six months if there are identified developmental concerns. For infants and toddlers, treatment is focused on parent-coaching and language-stimulation strategies.

Most of our clients are preschool and school aged, including some high schoolers. We occasionally work with young adults with developmental delays.

See “Areas of Practice” under Services for more information about what we work on.

  • Employee benefits often cover speech-language pathology services up to a specific amount. You will be provided with a detailed receipt for services which you can submit to your provider.

  • Most children attend sessions once per week for 45 minutes. The most frequent sessions would be twice per week, and the least frequent would be one or two times per month.

  • Sessions occur primarily in a home-based office, located just north of Kingston Road, between Woodbine and Victoria Park. Home or daycare visits may be provided in special circumstances in the immediate surrounding area. Virtual sessions will be considered for families who cannot travel.
